This weekend is a great time to start your Holiday Pop-Tarts House creations! Ask your friends & family to participate too. Our contest is virtual and social distancing approved. It's an easy and fun activity to do while keeping everyone safe at home this holiday season.

Don't know where to start? Below is a basic Pop-Tart house base. Chocolate Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-Tarts would make an amazing walkway or foundation. The sprinkle details would tie in the candy on your house. You can submit your pics anytime, but voting officially begins December 14th.

Safety is a non negotiable for Tart Beauty Boutique! Tart Beauty Boutique, and Team Tart, is doing everything they can to protect you, our guests, our community and our fellow co-workers. Members of our Tart Team have taken additional courses in sanitation to ensure the cleanliness of our salon. Tart will be following the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Nevada State Board of Cosmetology and Local Health Department Guidelines with regard to social distancing and sanitation.

Our stylists and technician are independent contractors. They may have additional, more specific, measures they will implement. Please contact your stylist or technician for questions or concerns.

Listed below are the guidelines Tart Beauty Boutique has implemented and the expectations for any guests who vists our salon. They may seem extreme and you may not agree with them. We understand and apologize for the inconvenience. We are committed to do everything we need to keep Nevada businesses open and can reschedule your appointment after restrictions are lifted if you prefer.

What we need from you

• If you are sick, have been sick or you have been around someone who is sick, please cancel your appointment.

• If at the time of your appointment you are showing signs of being sick, including what you may believe are "just allergies", you will need to reschedule your appointment.

• If you have traveled outside of Nevada within 10 days from the time of your appointment, please reschedule your appointment. This includes all forms of travel. Planes, trains & automobiles.

• If you have traveled outside of the United States within 14 days from the time of your appointment, please reschedule your appointment.

• Our stylists & technicians are taking every precaution to protect you. We expect the same in return. If you have attended gatherings with people who do not reside in the same household with you (including close family) or you have generally opted to not adopt social distancing practices please advise your stylist or technician. Please be honest. Please allow everyone to make their own choices regarding risk, exposure and what's best for their family and personal health. If ANY member of Team Tart shows any symptoms of COVID19 our salon will close for a mandatory quarantine.

• Please arrive to your appointment on time. Late clients will be rescheduled. Team Tart has scheduled additional time to thoroughly disinfect between guests. Arriving late does not allow us to adequately clean, sanitize and prepare, disrupting the flow of our day.

• Guests MUST wear a face covering during their appointment. It is a state mandate. It is also common courtesy to our Tart Team as well as our other guests. Your appointment will be rescheduled if you choose to not wear a mask. If you have a medical condition that does not allow you to wear a mask, a face shield, bandana or loose scarf is acceptable. Your appointment can also be reschedule for a time other staff and patrons are not present. These time slots are limited and subject to the Tart Team member's availability.

• At Tart, wearing a mask is not about personal opinion, liberties, rights, preference or personal choice. We are licensed professionals. We follow all recommendations, mandates, directives, best practices and licensing requirements. We do what is best for our community as a whole. No exceptions. Anyone exhibiting any hostile behavior, verbal abuse or refusal to wear a mask properly during your entire appointment will be removed from the salon.

• If your mask is handmade please be advised it may get dirty or stained during your service.

• One guest per stylist or technician. We are only allowing the guest actively receiving a service in the salon. State Board only permits one guest per licensee.

• If your child is receiving a service please bring them to the door and Team Tart will take it from there. Please remain outside while your child receives their service. Do not leave the premises. If your child is too young or you are uncomfortable with them being alone we will allow one adult to accompany their child.

• If you and your child are both scheduled to receive a service, you will need to make arrangements for your child while you are receiving your service. They will not be permitted to wait inside the salon with you. No exceptions!

Things to expect from Tart Beauty Boutique

• Team Tart will be following strict sanitation guidelines to ensure your safety. These include santizing and disinfecting all tools, stations and equipment between each guest.

• Team Tart will be wearing a mask throughout your entire appointment.

• We have adjusted the layout of salon allowing 6ft between stations, shampoo bowls and our color processors.

• We have discontinued complimentary beverages and poptarts. Please bring your own beverage in a sealable container (water bottle or cup with lid). Please do not bring food to eat during your appointment.

• We have modified our retail area. Testers have been removed and our retail area has been closed off to eliminate browsing. Team Tart will assist you with any purchase you need.

• We eliminated our waiting area. Please practice social distancing and remain outside of the salon prior to your appointment. State Board only permits one guest per licensee. When you arrive for your appointment, please text a member of Team Tart or call the salon directly. We will meet you at the door when we are ready. Team Tart's phone numbers are listed at the bottom of this notice.

• Appointments will not be double booked. Please be patient with Team Tart as they try to schedule everyone as quickly as possible.

• At this time aesthetic services will be at the discretion of your stylist. These services include but are not limited to waxing and eyelash services (extensions or tinting).

• Facial hair services, including beard trimming, are at the discretion of your stylist.

• The Nevada State Board of Cosmetology has recommended we reduce the amount of time a guest is in our salon as well as the potential to increase the risk of spreading COVID19 pathogens by discontinuing the use of dryer chairs, blow dryers as well as recommending guests wash their hair before arriving at the salon. The current increase in cases has raised red flags in our industry and increased health risks for our stylist. Your stylists has the right to forgo this service at their discretion.

• All forms of payment will be excepted. Venmo and paypal have been added as options if you prefer to make a contactless payment.

These protocols will be refined and adjusted as needed. Tart Beauty Boutique will do their best to keep you informed and up to date as quickly as possible.

Rest assured, we hope to get back to the new normal and offering many of the valued services and extras you've come to enjoy, as quickly as we can.

Hey! Long time no post! Our bad!

We are so excited to re open on May 9th. We have missed you. Team Tart is working hard to get everyone scheduled as quickly as possible.

We have implemented additional protocols to keep everyone safe, including eliminating double booked appointments. This means our team can only assist half the amount of guests per day that we normally do.

Don't fret! We know how long you've waited for us and we are so appreciative. We will be grinding around the clock to fit everyone in as soon as possible.

The Tart Team will be posting an updated list of the additional procedures we have implemented later today.
